August 20, 2007 (New York, NY) — Softflux announced it has established basic development and support facilities in Manila, Philippines.
The Philippine operations primarily add to the company's low cost supply facilities in Karachi, Pakistan.
"We will pursue organic growth for at least a year before we can start acquiring other local companies in the area," said Abdul Aziz, Director of Global Operations at Softflux.
"Demand for cost-effective development and ongoing support resources has been steadily growing in the US and other markets, and we will continue to scale our supply in low cost regions to effectively meet such demand," said Abdul Aziz.
"The company also explored setting up operations in India, but the cost has been rising 15% plus and much bigger issue is the attrition rate of 25-30%. You do not have such issues in Pakistan or Philippines."
